A shared to-do list that knows when the shopping’s done.
Plan the party, the move or the weekend with everyone on one drag-and-drop board. When a task needs shopping, HopDrop makes the grocery list for it — and ticks the task off when the shopping’s done.

How it works
- Start a to-do list
From scratch or a template: party prep, the house, a trip, the weekend, moving.
- Type tasks naturally
“Call the venue tomorrow 10am” sets the due date and the reminder for you.
- Claim it, finish it
Drag a task to “On it” so everyone knows you’ve got it, then to “Done”.
Why households love it
- To do, On it, Done The same drag-and-drop board as your groceries, grouped by Today, Tomorrow, Next 7 days and later.
- See who’s on it Claimed tasks show that person’s face, and live updates tell you when someone finishes one.
- Groceries linked to tasks “Buy groceries for the party” gets its own shopping list — and finishes itself when the shopping’s done.
- Reminders that reach the right person A claimed task reminds only whoever’s on it; an unclaimed one reminds everyone.
- Dates in plain words Type the date the way you’d say it, and HopDrop sets it.
- One app for the house To-dos and groceries in one place, on iPhone and Android.
Switching from Maple?
Maple shuts down on December 31, 2026. HopDrop picks up your family’s to-dos and shopping lists — and links them, so the shopping finishes the task.
Questions
Can the whole family share a to-do list?
Yes. Everyone on the list sees changes live, can claim tasks, and gets a heads-up when someone adds, claims or finishes one.
How do linked shopping lists work?
A task that needs shopping gets its own grocery list in one tap. The first item bought moves the task to “On it”, and finishing the list marks the task “Done”. Mark the task done yourself and the shopping list completes too.
Who gets reminded about a task?
If someone has claimed it, just them. If no one has, everyone on the list — at the due time, or 15 minutes, 1 hour or 1 day before.
Is HopDrop a good Maple replacement?
For shared to-dos and shopping lists, yes: shared to-do lists, claiming, due dates, reminders and grocery lists linked to tasks, on iPhone and Android.
Is HopDrop free?
Yes — HopDrop is free forever with one shopping list and one to-do list, and never shows ads. HopDrop Pro unlocks unlimited lists and live sharing, and one plan covers your whole household. It starts with a 7-day free trial.
